Our target group consists of those with a short supply of resources (often living paycheck to paycheck) that desire coaching, could really benefit from it, and are willing to fully engage with the program, as well as contribute a small amount towards its cost.
There are many programs available for those who truly have nothing. These people may be out on the streets, or in a homeless shelter. We care about these people but there are organizations and programs available to assist these people. But there's a group that never seems to qualify for anything.
This group is typically neglected when it comes to public assistance, or any other form of assistance for that matter. They may have enough to make it through the week but they don't have $500 for an emergency and don't have enough to spare for the full cost of coaching, even if it could turn their life around. These are single parents, families experiencing unemployment, and the like. We have a special place in our hearts for people affected in these ways and so we select this group to campaign for and assist.
We want to help this economic group that always seems to get left out. We know what it feels like to be in a place where good coaching is out of reach. In fact, this is one of the reasons we were inspired to start Direction Connection in the first this place! So, we don't want finances to be an obstacle for the person who wants and needs good coaching.
CoachFund.org exists because a very small donation from many people who can easily afford it, can help a lot of people who definitely can't.
